  • Client Solutions - Analyst (Boston)

    Company Overview:

Lightkeeper’s platform empowers its blue-chip customer base to streamline data workflows, generate actionable insights, optimize investment decisions and generate required internal and external reports.

    Position Overview:

    The Client Solutions Analyst will be a part of the Lightkeeper Client Solutions team and will be responsible for:

    • Developing and managing new and prospective client relationships
    • Becoming a product expert to train new users on how to best leverage the platform for portfolio analytics, data visualization, and reporting
    • Assisting in day-to-day client interaction and communication, addressing client inquiries and issues in a timely manner
    • Collaborating directly with our development group to incorporate new and evolving client needs into the product roadmap
    • The Client Solutions Analyst will report to a senior member of the client solutions team
    • This position will be in the office for a minimum of three days a week and is located in downtown Boston.

     

    Professional Experience and Qualifications:

    This role requires a candidate who can learn quickly, communicate clearly, and will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. Candidates should bring 2-4 years of experience in the hedge fund, alternative asset management, accounting, or financial services industry.

    • Basic knowledge of various financial instruments such as futures, forwards, options, fixed income and foreign currencies, in addition to equities
    • Advanced Excel skills for creating ad-hoc reports
    • Must be able to manage multiple projects
    • Strong problem-solving skills required
    • Understanding of financial statements and basic accounting
    • Strong communication skills with experience interacting with large teams and/or external clients
    • Programming background would be helpful, but not mandatory
    • Strong work ethic and “can-do” attitude

  • Sales Executive

    About the Opportunity: (New York)

    Lightkeeper is seeking a self-motivated, experienced, Fin-Tech Sales Executive to join our rapidly growing team. Lightkeeper is the industry leader in data driven Portfolio Intelligence.. Lightkeeper provides much needed data management technology, analytics and reporting tools to the asset management industry.

    Responsibilities:

    • Generate leads through cold-calling, networking and various other prospecting techniques
    • Qualify leads and develop a concise understanding of prospects’ decision-making processes and criteria
    • Work collaboratively with other groups within Lightkeeper, specifically members of the Client Solutions and Client Integration teams, to ensure each prospective customers requirements and expectations are aligned
    • Development of relationships with decision-influencing senior executives within prospect organizations
    • Ability to drive opportunities to contract sign-off — experience with negotiation of terms
    • Comfortable traveling regularly both within the US and globally

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience selling to or working within the Hedge Fund or Asset Management industry
    • Excellent communicator
    • Track record of consistently exceeding annual quota targets
    • High competence in delivering product presentations and managing client questions
    • High level of professional demeanor
    • Undergraduate Degree is required; post-graduate degree is a plus
